This place will be a sure hit for the student population.īreakfast at Short Stack Eatery was a great experience, and we encourage all of you to try it. For the serving portions and the quality of the ingredients used for their dishes, you are definitely getting more bang for your buck. The priciest dish on their menu costs $12.99, which is the Pulled Pork and Cheesy Grits. We showed up starving and left satisfied and gut-burstingly full! We’ll be mindful of how filling these meals are though, but rest assured that they are pumping out high-quality delicious food. Maybe 15-20 minutes at the most, and the line seemed to move rather quickly and there always seemed to be seating available. Was Short Stack Eatery worth standing in line? YES! ![]() We were so full from our meals that you almost had to roll us outta there! The sage and thyme hollandaise sauce made this meal, not to mention those super delicious biscuits! This was such a filling meal that we barely finished it, but it was yummy. The biscuits make another appearance here, but they’re covered by perfect over-easy eggs and a hollandaise sauce made with sage and thyme. This dish was definitely yummy and super filling. Those were some damn good biscuits! We would eat those biscuits by themselves. The gravy was super flavorful, but the stars of this dish were the biscuits. This was Deeeeeelish! They soak cinnamon sourdough bread with Bourbon (Yup!), they French Toast the heck out of it and serve it with Bourbon-Maple Marscapone (what?!?!) and real Wisconsin Maple Syrup. We ate the Baked Pecan Streusel French Toast Orange Juice and Champagne/Sparkling Wine…. You just can’t go wrong with one of those. Just check out the color! Look at how photogenic she is. It’s definitely not your traditional Bloody Mary, but it’s definitely the prettiest Bloody Mary we’ve ever seen (so far). You’ll have to try it and tell us what you think. They say it may just be the ‘Best Bloody Mary in the World’. Tito’s vodka, fresh pureed carrots, cucumbers, celery, shallots, garlic, beets, dill, red peppers, jalapenos, serranos, habaneros, and tomatoes, house-made pickle brine, fresh lime, lemon, cucumber juice, a dash of spices, a hint of agave nectar, topped with a Sriracha salt-rim, a house-pickled veggie skewer, and a Miller High Life shorty.
